LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A trial date has been set for a former Oldham County police officer accused of sending inappropriate messages to an underage girl.
Harry ‘Shane’ Mosley, 36, was arrested and accused of officials misconduct after texting sexually explicit messages to a teenager he had met during a traffic stop in Goshen.
The traffic stop occurred last year.
Mosley resigned following the arrest. He is also charged with a separate violation, in a separate case, involving misconduct and tampering with public records after he didn’t charge a US Marshal with a DUI, even though the Oldham County prosecutors said the Marshal’s breathalyzer test result was more than the legal limit.
His trial involving the misconduct involving the teenage girl is set for late June.
